Well, the rain shoes went over really well, except that the idea of calling my 5 year old daughter at home to rummage through my closet to get me Mommy's shoe size produced poor results. I give her credit, she tried, but she must have seen a UK size, which I then ordered as a US size.
Luckily Zappos makes it easy to exchange.
Unluckily, this means my wife gets to shop, unfettered.
And, in the process, I found out that I not only need, but want, new shoes. I was blissfully unaware of this, of course, until I noticed Sharon shopping online and, even though she was shopping for women's shoes, pairs of really nice-looking men's shoes started popping up.
The list of shoes I "need" is now up to 4 pair. I should probably narrow this down.
Probably.
So, Christmas is over and the spending continues. I mean, I got lots of nice new clothing. What good does it do to wear them with old ratty shoes, right?
